Blue Lighting on OAS
I have noticed that some
instruments have blue lighting above the
drawbars and can be seen behind the push buttons
as in David Dunlap's Scala here http://youtu.be/y3G21BWuMU0.
I have also seen this lighting below the
Does anyone know if this is
standard on some models or if there is an
"Official" modification or a kit to fit these?
If not could anyone who has added this feature
to their instrument please share with us how
they did it as I would like to add to my Verona.

Help With Pegasus Wing
Would any member be able to help
me regarding the "Pegasus Automatic Chord Quantize
I have a lot of trouble with some
inbuilt styles, when playing a chord especially on
the "Party Modern Mix " style the chord when pressed
does not play on the required beat but probably
about a half of a second after the chord is pressed
which throws out the timing. I was hoping that
the Quantize system would rectify this problem,
would appreciate if someone could give me a step by
step instruction on how to use this system
Thanks in advance.

Help With Wersi Performer
Hello all Wersi
I have just got a Wersi
Performer. I have no idea how to use it
properly - yet! I have Brain damage,
which makes it very very hard to understand Manuals.
I was wondering if any of
you, either had, or have a Wersi Performer?
If the answer is yes to either questions, is
there any help/advice that you could pass onto
me and others in similar conditions.
Do you know of any videos
that give more understanding about the Organ?
I know that most sounds are
amazing! I would love to blend the Hammond
sound, to the voices sound. Also to be
able to save the settings to a disc to name a

'Klaus's Dreaming Organist'
I was hoping for some
advice from members regarding the best
sound selection, or setting, for the
Klaus strings used by Claire Greig
during the first song of her medley at
the Nottingham Organ Society recently.
I have all sorts to choose from on my
Verona but cannot seem to replicate this
classic sound we so often hear.

Akai Sound Samples
At the last Oktoberfest, I was interested in the
string sounds Daniel Watt was getting from the Wersi
organ. The symphonic string effects he was
producing for some of his song selections were very
realistic. When I asked him about it he said that he
mixed Wersi string sounds with imported 'Akai'
I have checked on the internet
for places where I could purchase Akai string
samples compatible with the Wersi organ and they are
few and far between. A site called
www.producerloops.com was the one with the
best selection I could find. You can purchase sounds
and download them directly to your computer.
However, the selections they have seemed to be
biased towards sound loops for production purposes
rather than sound samples you could load into an

string sound samples' they were happy with and
if so where did you buy them from?

In the 'Demo Waves'
of Oas-7 there is a good wave file of Take 5.
Has anyone got the style for this piece of music as
there seems to be nothing like it in the 'Styles'

I noticed a comment by
our friend Thomas Shevels that he mentioned in his
article 'Building a Wersi', that I might be able to
help with. Thomas says, " I really miss the
Bolero rhythm on the Wega!!!"
There is a Bolero rhythm in the styles database but
to paraphrase Mr.Spock from Star Trek "It's a Bolero
Jim, but not as we know it". It doesn't fit the
music for Monsieur Ravel's Bolero, which is probably
what Thomas had in mind. Whilst familiarising
myself with the Record feature in the OAA I
thought it would be a good idea to try and construct
something we didn't have and the Bolero was
the obvious choice. It's got 4 variations of
increasing "umph" to match the structure of the
piece but no Intro as Monsieur Ravel didn't write
one, no breaks or fill-ins because they weren't his
thing but there's a crash, bang, wallop Ending1 as
he just had to have a big finish. The styles file is
attached, perhaps you'd like to include it in the
styles section of the WPG site for Thomas and other
members to download. The
style will work for other songs as well as Ravel's
Bolero, "The Impossible Dream" springs to mind.
